The newest tool at google is Search Wiki 
What is search wiki ?
A tool that shows personalized search , allows comments on sites and promotion of that site .
You can either promote a site pressing the arrow icon or remove it by pressing the X icon .
I don’t know if this tool will be usefull to us , but I guess it will start lots of discussions on it .
